Santa's Story

My most recent project is the children's book - Santa's Story. It is my first children's book, and it was inspired by the many questions my two young boys had about Santa that I had no answer for. So I set out to create the answers. Questions like: Why does Santa have magic? How did he meet the elves? Who is Saint Nicolas?

What surprised me is that it only took 2 weeks to write the story and that I was able to put it into a rhyme - first for me. What also surprised me was how hard it was to create the artwork. The artwork took 2 years and through countless iterations! But the artwork was as important as the story, as it was the glue that transfixed the children's attention.

Once finished, I test-drove the book with my boys, and they very much enjoyed the book and asked for it to be read to them a number of times. So I hope that the book is enjoyed by many and that some of the questions kids have about Santa can now be answered.
